The Isokinetic Conference returns to London

The Isokinetic Conference is back in London for the sixth time in its 30-year history.

Doors will open on Saturday for a three-day event to learn about the latest advances in football medicine from the very best practitioners in the world.

The conference is organised in close collaboration with FIFA, so data from the last World Cup will also be presented.

The mission of the annual Isokinetic Conference is to bring together the international football medicine community in a global event where the very latest in sports science and cutting-edge technology is shared.

This will break down barriers, spark lively debates, inspire conversations, encourage different perspectives, fuel collaborations, and spread happiness.

It is an energizing, thrilling and immersive experience that stays with its participants long after the venue doors close.

The main topics will be: video analysis, robotic surgery regenerative medicine, biomechanics, neuroscience, nutrition, and all technologies related to return to sport.

For the first time ever, the conference will include the British Football Sessions.

Scientific publications about football health and performance are increasing exponentially, but one thing is the theoretical framework and other is its practical application on the complex professional football environment.

So how do top-class British football teams apply the latest methods in their daily pursuit of excellence and success?

These sessions will provide some examples from the real world of high-level football.

Andrea Tartaglia, Managing Director, Isokinetic London, said: “I am delighted that the Isokinetic conference returns to London bringing the spotlight of the footballing world to our doorstep.
