Neil Ardley’s AFC Wimbledon looking to make it two wins in two at struggling Cambridge United

AFC Wimbledon v Cambridge United @ Kingsmeadow Stadium

February 24, 2015 @ 7.45pm

AFC Wimbledon will be looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since the end of December when they travel to Cambridge United tonight.

The Dons are currently 12th in League Two and eight points from the play-off spots with 15 matches left in the season.

Neil Ardley’s side narrowly beat promotion chasers Luton Town 3-2 last weekend and they will take confidence from their good performance.

Dons winger George Framcomb faces a late fitness test on a hamstring problem, while defender Jake Goodman is still out with a toe injury.

Mark Phillips is serving his final match of a three-game ban for his red card at Burton Albion a fortnight ago.

Meanwhile, Cambridge United will be without the injured Tom Ellliott, Jordan Chiedozie, Luke Chadwick and Rory Gaffney.

Manager Richard Money has added to his squad by signing Crawley striker Matt Harrold on loan and he could make his debut.

Cambridge are 16th in the table, seven points behind the Dons and six points above the relegation zone.

Money’s side haven’t won since mid-January and will be looking to end an eight-match winless run in all competitions.

United have scored six goals and conceded 11 in their last four league matches and they suffered a heavy 6-2 defeat at home to Portsmouth last weekend.
