Corinthian-Casuals FC: An archive of history through the centuries

The word ‘Corinthian’ will ring a bell in the minds of many football fans across the globe.

Though normally associated with a club in Brazil, a namesake can also be found in Tolworth under the guise of Corinthian-Casuals FC.

A side with history far beyond what its position as an amateur club suggests, their clubhouse at King George’s Field contains an archive of rare memorabilia that documents connections to the rise of football in England, clubs across the world, Brazilian greats such as Socrates and Rivelino and the birth of the Brazilian Corinthians FC.

Reporter Alp Salfur went to King George’s Field during one of the club’s match days to meet the man behind the growing archive, learn about the stories, and capture the state of the club today and yesterday.
