Championship football club Queens Park Rangers missed out on the promotion playoffs in 2021-22.
The Hoops were a strong contender to finish in the top six, but a poor run of form in the second half of the season doomed them in the end.
In the wake of Queens Park Rangers’ drop in form and missing out on the top six, manager Mark Warburton was dismissed from the club.
Queens Park Rangers are now in search of a new manager to take over the reins of the team.
Some interesting names have been shortlisted for the manager’s job at Loftus Road according to leading sportsbooks.

MK Dons’ manager Liam Manning has been brilliant with the League One club this season and is one of the top candidates for the job at Loftus Road.
John Eustace had two caretaker manager stints at Queens Park Rangers previously and could take full charge of the squad.
There are other interesting names on the list of possible managers that could turn Queens Park Rangers into a promotion-winning team.
Who is Liam Manning?
Thirty-six-year-old Liam Manning is a relative unknown in football management.
He took over at MK Dons in the summer of 2021 with the departure of Russell Martin to Swansea.
Manning led MK Dons to the League One playoffs this season.
Although Queens Park Rangers are a “big” club in the Championship, other clubs have taken note of Manning’s work at MK Dons.
Despite his work at MK Dons, some fans could consider Manning a risky managerial appointment due to his lack of experience.
However, there are plenty of Hoops fans that won’t want to see the same recycled Championship coaches at Loftus Road.
Could James Rowberry become manager of QPR?
James Rowberry is the manager of League Two’s Newport County.
Rowberry, like Manning, is a relative unknown in the world of English football management and is also young at the tender age of 37.
Moving towards young managers is a trend that is working for some football clubs around the world.
Even if Rowberry doesn’t get the job at Loftus Road, he is likely to move on from Newport County.
Will John Eustace finally become QPR manager?
John Eustace has been worked as Queens Park Rangers caretaker manager before.
Although Eustace has a history with Queens Park Rangers, he is currently the favourite to manage Watford for next season in the Championship.
Eustace has been the assistant manager of the Hoops since 2018.
He is now the assistant manager for the Republic of Ireland, but a Championship managerial offer would likely see Eustace leave the Irish national team.
Will Tim Sherwood return to management?
Former Tottenham and Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood is linked with the manager’s job at Loftus Road.
If fans are worried about Manning’s lack of experience, they should be just as worried about Sherwood’s lack of coaching in recent seasons.
Sherwood has not managed since 2015. He has worked as a media pundit for the last seven years.
