After steering Fulham out of the relegation zone and earning the job full time, Fulham manager Kit Symons has been nominated for manager of the month.
In the last month Symons has guided Fulham to three wins in five games including a 4-0 victory over Bolton.
The Cottagers have also scored eight goals in there three home games and managed three clean sheets in this period.
Positivity has been key to their change in fortune and speaking after Wednesday’s draw with Blackpool, Symons said: “I think positivity’s a great thing and the players are starting to believe it, for sure.”
Symons will face competition from Gary Bowyer, Eddie Howe and Chris Powell.
Powell, who is from Lambeth, had an unbeaten month at Huddersfield after bringing in experienced striker Grant Holt.
Bowyer also had an unbeaten month at Blackburn Rovers gaining eight points along the way.
Howe has taken Bournemouth top of the Championship in October beating struggling Birmingham City 8-0 along the way.
The winner will be decided by a judging panel that includes Chris Hughton, who was heavily linked with the Fulham job, and former Walsall and West Brom striker Don Goodman.
The results will be announced on Friday.
