Former Wimbledon girls singles champion, Laura Robson, also took part in the tournament this week in the women’s doubles with her partner, Monique Adamczak but unfortunately lost 6-4, 6-4 to Jessica Moore and Ellen Perez in the semi-final.
Originally hosting the prestigious Surrey Grass Court Championship, the event has seen Jo Wilfred-Tsonga and Roger Federer take part in the past.
This year’s edition also featured former Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt and world number 23, Nick Kyrgios.
Harriet Dart and Katie Boulter joined Gabriella Taylor to make it a trio of British women in the quarter-finals.
“Any win on the grass right now for me is a big win,” said Boulter.
“I’m working really hard and hoping for the best season that I can and I know she’s a really good player, so I knew I was going to have to get my best game out and I did.”
The tournament finishes on Sunday, with the next ATP Challenger event in England being the Nature Valley Open next week, before Wimbledon starts on July 2.
