If you’ve ever wanted to get up close and personal with Kylian Mbappé, you’ll get your shot at Madame Tussauds in London.
The French international will be displayed this spring at the Baker Street attraction ahead of the Easter holidays, and this will be his second figure following his first appearance in May 2024 in Madame Tussauds Berlin.
Mbappé fans won’t pass up the opportunity to hit his iconic goal celebration alongside the star, and Madame Tussauds’ painstaking process has captured everything from his studs to his signature grin.
Mbappé said: “The UK’s love for football is incredible with truly passionate fans, so having my figure in London alongside legends is both amazing and a tremendous honour.
“I’m so excited to see the finished figure that’ll join the London lineup.
“I was blown away by the Madame Tussauds Berlin figure, it looks so much like me that it’s almost unsettling.”
When his doppelgänger joins the lineup in London, the attraction will run a free entry offer for any children under 16 who wear an Mbappé shirt to the exhibit.
General manager Steve Blackburn said: “We feel like we’ve hit the back of the net being able to work directly with the star to craft his figure.
“Working with Mbappé has been amazing. He’s been so patient while we’ve been asking him to sit still for the sitting when he’s so used to being active and running around the pitch.”
Following Lady Gaga’s newest figure earlier in the week which fans deemed Madame Tussauds’ best-ever work, hopes will be high for the footballer’s copy.
