London Scottish scrum-half Jamie Stevenson returns to action for the first time since October as the Exiles head to Meadow Lane for a vital Greene King IPA Championship clash against Nottingham Rugby.
Stevenson has recovered from a knee injury and is joined on the bench by forward Josh Thomas Brown who is in line for his first appearance of the season since returning to the third placed team in the summer for a second spell.
The lock has been sidelined by a neck injury having moved back to the Athletic Ground from Rotherham Titans.
Sunday’s game will be Nottingham’s last at Meadow Lane before they relocate to their training base at Lady Bay and the Scots will look to register a first win in four at the venue to stretch their gap between themselves and the fourth placed Green and Whites.
Head coach James Buckland said: “If we are able to put a little bit of distance between ourselves and the main contenders for a top four finish then that would be a big carrot for us.
“It’s Nottingham’s last game at Meadow Lane so it’s a big game for them and the fact is they can leapfrog us in the league with a win.
“Traditionally Nottingham are a strong Championship team who went through a bit of a transition last year but they are coming strong again.
“They have been playing on a good surface at Meadow Lane and have brought an expansive style back to their game whilst doing the basics very well.”
