Fulham aim to continue their resurgence against fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers

Fulham v Bolton Wanderers @ Craven Cottage

Wednesday 1 October @ 20.00

Kit Symons wants to continue reviving Fulham’s season by leapfrogging Bolton Wanderers in the table tonight.

The Cottagers look invigorated after fighting back to beat Birmingham 2-1 last weekend and recording a second win in three games in all competition.

And caretaker manager Symons, who many fans want to have the job permanently, is out to keep that feel-good factor going.

“Winning breeds confidence for sure, and it gives you momentum,” he said.

Visitors Bolton have been having their own problems this season and sit third bottom in the table, on place above Fulham.

Like their hosts, Wanderers have only recorded one league victory this year and manager Dougie Freedman is under increasing pressure after the disappointing 2-0 defeat to Derby last weekend.

Freedman will, however, be buoyed with his side’s efforts in the Trotters’ slender 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in the League Cup last week.

Fulham – who are still without Adam Taggart but have no new injury concerns – have won the three previous meetings of the clubs without conceding a goal and the last time both sides met, this was a Premier League fixture.
