London Scottish will be eyeing a place in the Aviva Premiership for the first time in 16 years when they face Worcester Warriors in the Championship play-offs tomorrow.
Scottish finished third in the regular season but are underdogs against Worcester, who finished second, runners-up to Bristol Rugby.
But Exiles coach Peter Richards insists the Exiles remain unfazed by the challenge ahead of the first leg.
“I think we thrive having the underdogs tag,” he said.
“Worcester can be toppled but it will take a monumental effort.”
If they can pull off an upset, then Scottish will play Bristol or Rotherham Titans in the play-off final.
The first-leg kicks off at 1.45pm at Scottish’s Richmond Athletic Ground, with the second leg at the Warriors’ Sixways Stadium next Friday.
