Wimbledon Village’s first flexible 24-hour co-working space opened its doors last week.
Common Ground, a new boutique co-working hub located on Wimbledon High Street, aims to provide co-working with a private members club feel.
Launched by Spacemade, the 5,500 sq. ft. venue aims to meet demand from locals to work near home.
Spacemade co-founder Jonny Rosenblatt said: “We believe there is no longer a one-size-fits-all approach to the office and have designed a workspace that truly meets the needs of the surrounding community, while bringing the level of quality you’d expect from central London into Wimbledon. “
Common Ground boasts phone booths, virtual meeting rooms and a lounge for members to relax, as well as free tea and coffee and shower facilities.
The pet-friendly site offers bike storage and car parking, as well as free Wifi and a dedicated community manager.
Spacemade emphasises its strong focus on supporting the communities where it operates, and the new Wimbledon Village venue will be no exception.
Common ground will be used to host community socials, business talks and networking opportunities, and will also stock locally sourced Volcano Coffee to support local business.
Since its launch in 2019 Spacemade has launched six flexible workspaces in London and Leeds.
The new site offers members a variety of membership packages starting at £89 a month.
