The English Civil War Society took to the streets of Westminister with their historic re-enactment in honour of Charles I.
Dressed in uniforms of the period, hundreds of volunteers marched from the Mall to Whitehall.
The march follows the exact route Charles I took before he was executed in 1649.
It is just one of several demonstrations completed by the English Civil Society throughout the year and across the country.
The demonstration is followed by a speaker reading a list of names of members of the society who had passed that year, as the group honour them.
This year’s ceremony marked 376 years since King Charles I was executed and the group asked the audience to join them in a Holy prayer of commemoration.
