Hampton and Richmond Borough FC restarted their food bank collection scheme this month after a break of nearly two years.
The scheme was first launched back in 2019 and will now be run at every home game until the end of the season.
The club is collecting for Richmond Foodbank but also for Prosperity, a Ukrainian café and restaurant in Twickenham, who are working hard to deliver much needed supplies to those hit hardest in Eastern Europe.
The official relaunch came when they welcomed Dulwich Hamlet FC to the Beveree on 5 March, the same club that inspired the Beavers to initiate their original scheme prior to the pandemic.
South West Londoner attended the fixture, in which the hosts claimed a comeback 2-1 win, and spoke to those involved to find out more.
