A man has died after he was found lying unresponsive in Wimbledon today.
Merton police were called to Durnsford Road at 04.31am today following reports of a man lying on the pavement.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found the man, believed to be in his 30s, there – he was pronounced dead at 04:59am.
At this early stage, his death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are underway to trace and inform next of kin.
