What’s a good way to spend the last night of 2022? A London fireworks show of course.
A tradition in most places, London is once again full of options for people to experience the 2022 New Year’s Eve fireworks displays as we turn the page towards 2023.
While the official ticketed display by the River Thames is sold out, there are some fantastic alternatives for you to still enjoy the displays on the 31st of December.
Cruises on the Thames
A variety of cruises on the river Thames are available throughout the evening. Each offering their own distinct dinners, activities and musical events, yet sharing the same gorgeous views of the fireworks displays from the comfort of the Thames. From the Sapele, to the Typhoon Clipper to the Thomas Doggett, there is no shortage of options on the river.
The Southbank Centre
The Southbank Centre is hosting its own New Year’s Eve Spectacular, right by the Thames River and just minutes away from Waterloo. The Royal Festival Hall becomes the scene of themed club nights, dining selections, live shows and much more across five floors of different musical eras. And for the fireworks show? A nice view from their exclusive terraces to enjoy.
The Sky Gardens
The skyscraper at Fenchurch Street hosts its own all-night New Year’s party where people can enjoy plenty of live performances, delicious food and a lovely view of the fireworks from the top of the building. From the dining experience of the Darwin Brasserie and Fenchurch Restaurant, to shows with Bel-Air, ALR Music’s Coco Vegas and resident DJs, the party gets fancy and wild!
The Drayton Court Hotel in Ealing
For those who look for a place in the west of London, we haev the Drayton Court Hotel in Ealing. An open-air event that starts earlier in the day, with BBQ, wood-fire pizzas and fun activities outside for a family-friendly time, before moving to the Ballroom for the night party atmosphere as the fireworks ring out. An entertaining time in Ealing from afternoon to 2 am, for family and party fun.
Bar&Co Boat Bar
Back to the water of the Thames, but now aboard the moored boat bar of Bar&Co at Enbankment. Another great atmospheric party, with a mix of latin and classic music to enjoy until the late hours of the morning. Unlimited drinks, live DJ music, a double deck (outside on the top of the boat and a heated inside) and fully stocked bars. There’s a lot to enjoy with the sight of the fireworks hitting all night.
