A white gold band with five encrusted diamonds engraved with the name ‘Anna’ was stolen in a robbery earlier this month, and now police have released a picture of it in a bid to retrieve it.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was at a bus stop in St. Rule Street junction with Wandsworth Road at approximately 3am when he was approached by a male teen.
STOLEN: Distinctive white gold and diamond band
The suspect asked to see the victim’s ring, pushed him to the ground and snatched the ring from him.
He is described as black, approximately 5ft 11ins, wearing dark clothing and spoke with a London accent.
DC Vicky Vincent from the Lambeth robbery squad said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who has information about this robbery or anyone who has come in possession of this distinctive ring.
“We will treat all information in the strictest confidence.”
Anyone with information should call DC Vicky Vincent on 0208 649 2137 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
