Fast food freebies are on the menu today as a burger chain dishes out hundreds of free cheeseburgers to hungry Clapham folk.
Queues stretched down Clapham High Street for the first day of burger pandemonium on Thursday, when GBK’s fast food cart, endearingly named ‘Woody’, rolled into town.
But crowds are expected to rise considerably as word spreads and thrifty burger bandits steal a piece of the action.

Organisers of Meat Free Week, which began on March 24, may be less impressed by the news of the chain’s generosity but punters appear delighted.
Judging by the joyful dance moves of GBK server, Lem, he’s as happy about it as the thrifty foodies are.
‘Woody’ will continue his residence in Clapham today and Saturday, 12:30 – 17:30.
