Aspiring business men and women from across South West London have the opportunity to listen to the words of a self made millionaire at Twickenham Stadium today.

The Richmond Business Expo is in its fifth year of giving businesses the opportunity to meet and greet a variety of people in the business world.

There are 80 businesses and over 1000 visitors expected at the event who will be able to listen to some of the UK’s leading business men and women including main speaker Nigel Botterill – founder of six £m+ businesses in seven years.

“It’s a great event – it is the third year that I have been involved,” said Mr Botterill.

“I go to a lot of events like this but this is the most impressive, it is about local businesses coming together.

Botterill ranked no.3 in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 and has twice won the much coveted Glazer Kennedy Marketer of the Year award.

His flagship brand, ‘thebestof’, was voted one of the best online businesses in the UK, as well as‘Peel2Save’ aims to raise money for good causes in the country.

“I am passionate about helping businesses, I’m lucky enough to have had some success and hope I can pass that on,” explained Mr Botterill.

“I hope people can take away some new nuggets of information that can help.”

The event, organised by Mr Botterill’s ‘thebestofrichmond’ will open at 10.30am, with the new introduction of specific zones for Property and Leisure alongside Business Services.

“In a business world that is becoming more and more virtual, you cannot underestimate the value of showcasing your business live,” said the organisers.

“Engaging face to face with prospects you would never normally get the chance or time to meet is a great opportunity.”
