Officers investigating the disappearance of a 67-year-old Mitcham man have confirmed they have found a body.
Police attended the Premier Inn hotel, Lansdowne Road, Croydon, shortly after 11pm on Friday August 21 and found an unresponsive man in one of the rooms.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, officers are satisfied that he is John Neville Singh.
Mr Singh had been reported missing from his Mitcham home on Wednesday August 19.
Next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
