Prince George, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be attending school at Thomas’s School in Battersea from this September.
The young Prince, third in line to throne after his grandfather Prince Charles and his father, Prince William, currently attends Westacre Montessori School – a nursery in Norfolk.
It was thought the young Prince would be attending Wetherby in the footsteps of his father, but he will instead defy tradition and attend the co-educational school of more than 500 students.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced that Prince George will attend Thomas’s Battersea School in London from September 2017.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, recently said they would move from their main home, Anmer Hall, Norfolk, to their Kensington Palace apartment, as Prince William takes on more royal duties.
Princess Charlotte, who turns two in May, will be starting nursery this summer.
Thomas’s School costs £6,000 a term, with other sites operating in Fulham, Kensington and Clapham.
