Candidates from across south west London have sent messages of condolence to victims of the Manchester terror attack, in which 22 people, including children, have been killed.
The attack, believed to have been carried out by a lone suicide bomber, occurred after the end of a concert by singer Ariana Grande.
Campaigning for the general election has been suspended and Theresa May is chairing a meeting of COBRA — the government’s emergency committee.
The Croydon Central Hustings, which were due to take place this evening, have been cancelled.
