A Twickenham teenager was charged with murder yesterday following the stabbing of a man in Richmond.
On Tuesday, 22 March, detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of 31-year-old Mirko Naramcic in Richmond charged teenager Leone Davies, 18, of Rosslyn Road with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared in custody at Highbury Magistrates’ Court today.
Police were called at around 11:20pm on Thursday 17 March to reports of a stabbing in the area of Maguire Drive.
No victims were found at the scene but shortly afterwards three men, including Mirko, attended hospital having sustained what are believed to be stab injuries.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, Mirko died in hospital and his next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination took place at Kingston Mortuary on Saturday 19 March and gave the cause of death as a stab injury.
Four other people – two females, 17 and 52, and two men 19 and 20 – have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and have since been released on bail.
