Derren Brown, the famed illusionist and showman, rolled into Wimbledon last week on the latest leg of his new tour.
Mr Brown was in town for a week-long performance of his Enigma show at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
Known for his extravagant performances and the ability to leave audiences spellbound, Mr Brown had the crowd in raptures and disbelief.
“It was fantastic – our entire audience loved it,” a theatre spokesperson said.
“Derren popped backstage and said how thrilled he was on how things were going.”
Mr Brown says his latest show will see him pushing himself to the limit and creating new material which will shock, surprise and defy explanation leaving the audience with an experience they will never forget.
The theatre also received an added bonus when Mr Brown’s appearance on the show in Wimbledon was being filmed by channel four for a DVD that will coming out later this year.
