Halloween Hits Kingston
Kingston‘s The Bentall Centre kicks off its Halloween activities for half-term holidays of a fun packed week of spooky goings-on, workshops and ghoulish goodies! All activities are free to attend. A perfect excuse to dress up and have fun.
Monday 24th October 2011 – Spooky Craft Workshop
Kids release their Halloween creativity and make 3D witch houses and a selection of 2D crafts including spooky cats, bats, spiders, witches, pumpkins, skeletons and vampires
Tuesday 25th October 2011 – Magic Workshop with Matthew Garrett
Amazing magician (won Magic Circle Close Up Magician of the year award 2010) teaching children all the tricks of the trade.
Wednesday 26th October 2011 – Trick & Treat Craft workshop
Children make and then take home their own trick or treat bag full of amazing goodies.
Thursday 27th October 2011 – Meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie Mouse courtesy of Virgin Holidays
Mickey and Minnie will be joining Virgin staff to give away 50 goody bags packed full of cool Disney
Friday 28th October 2011 – Halloween photos and fun with Venture Portraits
A Halloween Grotto where shoppers can have their photo taken. Dress up and create a fun family photo to share!
October Half-Term Tremendous Trees
RHS Garden Wisley are hosting a week of tree-themed activities for the family to enjoy this half-term including sculpting art classes among other activities.
Those aged 7–12 can climb a special tree using harnesses and pulleys. Ring the bells and sound the horn when you reach the top. Book your place in advance (when accompanied by RHS member £5, when accompanied by non RHS member £8.50).
Tree climbing demonstrations will take place on 25th October by skilled members of the RHS arboretum team.

Chess the Musical: Performing Arts Centre, Kingston Grammar School

Cards for Good causes, All Saints Parish Chirch, Kingston.
From Saturday 22nd October
Cards for Good causes is launched for Christmas again on the 22nd October.
The Christmas cards can be bought from more than 40 national and local charities in Kingston. It’s Kingston shop opens in All Saints Parish Church on 22nd October. Open Monday-Saturday from 10am-4pm. Open on Sundays from 20th November-11th December.
