At just after 9.30am nearly all trains going in and out of Wimbledon were delayed as police tried to catch the trespasser.
Male has just been arrested by officers. May be some delays as trains were held for a short time to allow officers safe access to tracks https://t.co/ATMJAefkDe

A South West Trains spokesperson said: “A trespasser was on the railway line for approximately 20 minutes and was removed by emergency services.
“All train traffic was stopped in the area and power turned off to allow for the safe removal of the trespasser.
“This resulted in trains coming into our main terminus Waterloo queuing up behind one another and has led to major disruption.
“We are now working to get trains back to normal.”
Trains service between London and Dorkington and Shepperton were re-routed or cancelled earlier in the day but normal services have now resumed.
