Elf fire-eaters, giant snowmen and the cast of Disney’s Frozen will help transform Wimbledon into a winter wonderland later this month.
Love Wimbledon will be pedestrianising The Broadway to celebrate the countdown to Christmas with sparkles, snowflakes, rides and family activities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch a variety of live performances all day with Disney’s Frozen fans getting the chance to sing along to the classic Let it Go song with Anna, Elsa and Olaf at 1pm on the Ice Stage.
BID manager at Love Wimbledon, Helen Clark Bell, said: “We will be raising money for the Polka Theatre so please look for the donation buckets and give generously.”
Festive fans will also get the chance to ride carousels, a snowboard simulator, rodeo reindeer and have pictures taken inside a giant snowglobe.
If that isn’t enough to whet your appetite then the traditional Christmas Market will be on The Piazza selling a variety of festive gifts, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.
The day will end with a firework display at 5.30pm.
This free event will take place from 12pm-6pm with The Broadway closed to traffic from 5am till 10pm on November 30.
