A teenager murdered at a Wandsworth house party over the weekend has been named.
Peter Hagan, 16, was found stabbed in a stairwell in Neville Gill Close, in the early hours of Sunday morning and confirmed dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination will resume later.
Nine people have been arrested, with eight being released on bail. One remains in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Scola, of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: “I need to trace everyone at that party.
“In particular I am appealing for any information about a group of between five and eight males seen running from the scene into the surrounding streets and possibly through King George’s Park.”
Peter, from Brixton, was a student at South Thames College for a short period from September 2012.
“We were saddened to hear the news of Peter Hagan’s death and our sympathies are with his family and friends,” said a college spokesperson.
“We are working with staff to ensure that we can support any students particularly affected by this tragedy.”
