Richmond residents weren’t afraid to get mucky as they took to the riverside to help clear up the waste along its foreshore in the annual Thames Draw-off litter-pick.
Hosted by London-based climate and environment charity Habitats and Heritage, each year, the litter pick coincides with the lifting of the weir at Richmond Lock, for maintenance.
Reporter, Nadia Sayed, attended the event, which took place on 9 November, and spoke to some of this year’s volunteers.
