Donald Trump has condemned the ‘loser terrorist’ behind this morning’s attack at Parsons Green.
The US President called for the UK to be proactive after ‘another attack’ by ‘sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard’.
Twenty-two people were injured in the bucket bomb terror attack on the London Underground.
He tweeted: “Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!”
He added: “Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!”
He continued: “The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific-but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!”
This not the first time the president has branded terrorists losers.
After the terrorist attack in Manchester in May which killed 23 people, Trump said: “I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term. They would think that’s a great name.
“I will call them, from now on, losers, because that’s what they are. They are losers. And we will have more of them. But they are losers, just remember that.”
