Football clubs in south west London have shown solidarity with victims of this morning’s Parsons Green terror attack.
Premier League Chelsea Football Club tweeted: “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this morning’s incident at Parsons Green. Do stay safe.”
Fulham Football Club shared this with their followers: “Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the incident at Parsons Green this morning.”
Twenty-two people were taken to four hospitals across London after a device exploded on a district line train at Parsons Green at 8.20am.
None of those injured are in a serious or life-threatening condition.
Police have confirmed the explosion was a terrorist attack, and that the device had not fully detonated.
It is not yet known whether an individual or group are responsible.
A huge search by counter-terrorism police is underway.
