Animal-loving celebrities from the world of film, TV, music and fashion are set to grace the red carpet at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s annual Collars & Coats Gala Ball later this year.
Organisers are remaining tight-lipped over the full line-up but charity supporters including Amanda Holden, Paul O’Grady, and Dr Christian Jessen are set to attend an evening of entertainment and glamour at Battersea Evolution on November 12.

Legendary rock icon Bryan Ferry will headline the gala fundraiser, now in its seventh year, which will have the theme ‘transformations’.
This is particularly poignant as it will celebrate the many changes former centre dogs have undergone.
Former Battersea dogs who have undergone physical, medical and behavioural transformations will take to the stage with their news owners to showcase their makeovers.

Last year’s event saw model David Gandy hit the red carpet, Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood issuing advice to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Amanda Holden flashing just a little more than she intended.

Money raised will go directly to help the charity’s homeless pooches and felines.
