Fulham primary school continues Bake a Difference tradition for ex-classmate

All Saints Primary School in Fulham held a cake sale today as part of a national campaign to fundraise for muscular dystrophy.

The Bake the Difference campaign was started at the school by Oliver de Laszlo and his wife Triscia to support their son Sammy, 9, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, an incurable genetic disorder that causes severe muscle wasting.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about the disease and fundraise for research in to cures and provide support to sufferers and their families.

What started as a bake sale at the school is now a national campaign adopted by Muscular Dystrophy UK, happening up and down the country between 8th-14th October.

Although the family have moved away from Fulham for a more suitable house for their son the tradition still continues at the school.

Mr de Laszlo said that it is great to get so much love and support from the school, but he is  always thinking about next year and how they can be bigger and better than ever before.
