The French Tricolour and Union Flag is flying half-mast at Hammersmith Town Hall in solidarity with the victims of the terrorism in Paris.
The flags were raised today and follow worldwide vigils, marches and other efforts to pay tribute to the 17 people killed during three days of attacks in Paris targeting satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, police officers and a kosher supermarket.

There are 5,400 French citizens living in Hammersmith and Fulham – and are an important part of the community.
The Leader of London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Councillor Stephen Cowan, said: “We have all been touched by these terrible and tragic events and are thoughts are with all those that have lost loved ones.
“We are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our friends across the Channel.
“We send a clear message of solidarity in flying the Tricolour alongside the Union Flag from Hammersmith Town Hall and join with our citizens from across the borough of all faiths and nationalities in stating Nous Sommes Charlie and Vive La France!”
