Popular coffee shop chain Black Sheep Coffee has launched in Putney.
Black Sheep Coffee, founded in 2013, is a well-known coffee shop franchise which specialises in ethnically clean and high-quality coffee beans.
Black Sheep Coffee consider sustainability within its production, trading and brewing of their signature beverages.
On Thursday May 30, the company built a new two-floor, 2,200 square feet coffeehouse, with support of a six-figure funding package by HSBC UK.
The shop consists of seats for 66 people, a self-service kiosk and a wide range of food and drinks from their menu.
As a result of the opening, ten full-time and part-time jobs were created, with the new local staff undergoing thorough training.
The director of the company’s trading in Putney, Adnan Chowdhury, stated: “Our opening last week was a great success, welcoming over 400 customers on our first day, who were eager to look around the new space and try our range of delicious foods and beverages.’’
Chowdhury also claimed that with further support from the HSBC UK, they plan to install additional stores in the near future.
The relationship manager of HSBC, Campbell Chrisholm, said: “It has been a pleasure to see the successful opening of the latest Black Sheep Coffee franchise in the UK.’’
He believes that the site will be a great addition to the residents and visitors of Putney.
