There are 12 categories for businesses to enter.
Organisers of Wandsworth’s annual Business Awards are seeking out the borough’s top business talent.
Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce is urging businesses to enter its prestigious awards which honour commercial excellence.
Businesses will be judged in 12 categories, which include Best Business for Customer Service, Entrepreneur of the Year, Best New Business, Commitment to the Community Award and Best Green Business.
Companies demonstrating excellence in marketing and social media or training and development will also be rewarded.
Steven Pinto, Chairman of Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, said: “You have to be in it to win it and, with 12 categories, there really is something for everyone. I believe that entering the awards is an absolute must for any business in the borough.”
Entries will be judged by a panel of experts who will select a shortlist of finalists who will then be asked to make a presentation to a judging panel in early October.
Winners will be announced the following month at a black tie ceremony, hosted by radio personality Neil Bentley, at the Roehampton Club.
All 12 category winners will then battle it out for the chance to be crowned Wandsworth’s Best Business.
At last year’s inaugural awards, Business Launchpad, a business start-up programme for entrepreneurs aged 17-30, was named the borough’s best business.
Jonathan Amponsah, founder and partner of awards sponsor The Tax Guys, said: “Local businesses enhance and change lives and affect every area of the borough and that is why it is important we celebrate and honour the best of them.”
He added: “Just by entering these awards, businesses will have to focus on their processes, core values and differentiation which will help them grow.”
Entries for the awards close on July 18. To enter, visit www.wandsworthbusinessawards.com
