Online books of condolences are opening across the UK to allow the public to pay their respects, as Mayors also express their sympathies to the Royal Family, following the death of Prince Philip.
Glasgow, Doncaster, Belfast, and Derry City & Strabane have already launched online books of condolences, with others to follow in due course.
Countries around the world, including Australia, are also creating virtual platforms for the public to share their sympathies.
Mayors from across the UK have paid tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh.
