The event runs throughout November.
The Richmond Literature Festival is one of the borough’s annual highlights and this year promises to be no different.
Taking place throughout the whole of November, the event features many literary celebrations in different prestigious heritage locations around the borough.
The fest includes the much anticipated appearances of Sir Max Hastings, novelist and journalist Daisy Waugh, and BBC’s Antiques Roadshow’s Marc Allum, as well as commentators on food, politics, history, cocktails, gardening and many more.
Other highlights of the event include poetry readings, recipe demonstrations from Allegra McEvedy, and 2012 Funny Women Awards finalist Viv Groskop’s talk with special guests to raise funds for the Richmond based charity, The Victoria Foundation.
There are exciting programmes for children and young people, including appearances from renowned author and illustrator Shirley Hudges, workshops for the entire family and presentations and speeches from other well-known, celebrated authors.
