The man charged with the murder of a fellow inmate is due to appear at court today.
Taras Nykolyn, 46, of HMP Wandsworth was charged yesterday with the murder of 66-year-old Wadid Barsoum also of HMP Wandsworth on May 4.
This follows an incident in the prison at around 7.35am.
Nykolyn will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
The murder investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Rebecca Reeves of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
