MC Stormzy, Krept & Konan, Fuse ODG, Faithchild and Section Boyz flew the flag for south west London’s music talent at the MOBO Awards last night bagging seven awards.
The Thornton Heath MC scooped Best Male and Best Grime Artist while Def Jam signings Krept & Konan netted two awards winning Best Album and Best Hip Hop Act at the Leeds ceremony.

Mitcham’s Fuse ODG won Best African Act, Croydon’s Faithchild was named Best Gospel Act and Thornton Heath rappers Section Boyz, scooped Best Newcomer. Croydon North MP Steve Reed gave his support to all the winning acts. He tweeted: Is Croydon North now the UK’s coolest constituency after cleaning up at the MOBOS?
