Police are seeking more information after a teenager was stabbed in Kingston in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police attended Wood Street at around 3.40am on Saturday, where officers administered first aid on the 19-year-old from Barnes who was critically injured in the incident.
The man remains in a critical condition in a west London hospital.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are appealing for witnesses or those with images or footage to contact them.
Detective Chief Inspector Helen Rance said: “This was a terrible attack on a young man who was simply enjoying a night out with his friends. Now he lays in hospital in a critical condition.
“It is vital that anyone with information comes forward to help us investigate this case, so that those who committed this horrific attack are brought to justice.”
Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Two 20-year-olds were arrested and charged with various offences. They are next due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on March 26.
Two teenagers aged 18 and 19 arrested shortly after the incident have been bailed to return later this month.
The crime scene has now been closed, although Wood Street did not reopen until Monday.
Sally Benatar, the South West Commander, said: “We are determined to work with our communities and local partners to take weapons off the streets of south west London and to prevent violence in all its forms.
“Local officers are patrolling in Kingston town centre and I would encourage anyone who has concerns to speak to them or to contact their local policing team.”
