A murder investigation has launched following the death of a man in New Malden this morning.
Police responded to a report of a person collapsed at a residential address in High Street, New Malden, shortly before 1:20am this morning.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman in her 40s has been arrested for murder and remains in custody at this time.
Officers and the London Ambulance Services attended.
While officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, the next of kin are yet to be informed.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Reid, from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, is leading the investigation.
