Fundraiser held for earthquake victims.

A charity art auction raised £3000 for Haiti earthquake victims in Wimbledon on Monday.
The works for sale at Art Aid for Haiti at Cannizaro House were largely contributed by local artists.
The money raised will go towards building homes and shelters for some of the estimated 1.5 million displaced.
A rare print of Kate Moss by celebrated photographer Jillian Edelstein, who has worked for Vanity Fair and Vogue, was donated to the auction.
Of the 19 pieces sold, four of them were by pupils from specialist arts high school, Ricards Lodge, which has won the Gold Artsmark Award for excellence.
Organiser and Wimbledon-based artist, Susan Mensah, asked the contributions from Ricards Lodge to be based on the theme Hope for Haiti.
She was inspired to organise the event in January after being deeply moved by TV coverage of the disaster.
“It’s been a real community event. So many people have been touched,” Ms Mensah said.
Art Aid for Haiti was organised with the help of Christian Aid.
