A new Amazon Fresh store opened in Croydon last week.
The doors of the new store, in Ruskin Square, opened at 7:00am on 24th January, and will be open every day from 7am until 11pm.
According to a statement, the store will be able to provide everything a person would want to find at their local grocery store, such as bread, fruit and veg, meat and more.
Alongside this, customers will be able to pick up items purchased at the Amazon Website, as well as return items without the need to package or print a shipping label for the product.
Robb Cosslett, Fund Manager for Schroders Capital, said: “Croydon is gaining ground as a veritable tech hub, and we are pleased that Amazon has chosen Ruskin Square for its newest Amazon Fresh Store.”
Amazon Fresh stores are physical convenience stores from Amazon.
Launched in Seattle in 2007, the stores have spread across major cities in the world, including London.
Stores have now opened in numerous locations across London, including Islington, Canary Wharf and Richmond.
