Mind Over Slammer is a project which hopes to further conversations around mental health through spoken word and slam poetry.
South West Londoner headed down to the Grand Slam Finale to witness some of the work which has taken place over the past year including workshops and regional slams.
Joelle Taylor RSL, touring poet, author and playwright treated the audience to her headline act which offered an example to the 12 finale contestants competing for the one thousand pound prize.
CEO and founder of Mind Over Matter, Fisky, created the project after struggling with his own mental health for 20 years. He hopes the platform will offer others a voice in a way that he never had.
