Sausages, cheeses, mojitos and marshmallows! Foodies rejoice as Wimbledon Park Food Festival returns

If gourmet sausages, regional cheeses and Indian street food are your cup of tea, get yourself to Wimbledon Park Food Festival this Bank Holiday weekend.

More than 40 stallholders will descend on Wimbledon Park for a weekend of good food, family fun and live demonstrations this August 27-29.

Back for its third year, the SW19 festival promises to provide everything from delicious desserts to cocktails and craft beers.

Dishing up cuisines from around the world will be the fabulous stallholders including Bratwurst Brats, Huckleberry Treats, The Little Indian Kitchen and many, many more.

If that wasn’t enough there will also be the chance to hear from experts and chefs in the cookery demonstration tent — sessions include How to Beat Stress with Food with Katherine Tate and Breadmaking Masterclasses with Jack Sturgess.

The festival vibe will be enhanced with live music — so fingers crossed for the sun to come out.

There will be facepainting, jenga, storytelling, animal petting and more to keep the kids happy all day — with CBeebies’ Katy Ashworth making an appearance on Saturday 27.

The foodie festival will take place from 10am-5pm, Saturday-Monday.

Tickets cost £8 per adult and £5 per child or £22 for a family (two adults + two children) with under-fives going free.
