Searcys bar releases cocktail menu inpired by Olympics

Searcys bar has released a limited-edition menu in celebration of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The new menu includes their Four Nations Cocktails, and tasters of their new English sparkling wine, afternoon tea and their unique Searcys Takeaway Champagne Package.

Influencer Gabrielle Josephine said: “The Searcys afternoon tea experience is like no other, with exceptional attention to detail and a fantastic array of flavours.

“It’s the perfect accompaniment to the Olympic season – where everything is the best of the best.”

Supporters can pick their nation or all four with the Four Nations Cocktails selection ranging from £14-£16.

England’s cocktail contains a base of the Sparkling Britannia, including a mix of wild idol rose, juniper and saffron.

Wales’s cocktail contains malt whiskey Welsh Gold, along with cygnet, orange, lemon and honey.

Scotland’s ‘tale’ includes the Highland Torch with a touch of Aberfeldy 12, peach, amaretto, lemon and sugar.

Ireland’s cocktail is the spin on Irish coffee, using the Irish Warm Up blend with Jamesons, hazelnut, vanilla and coffee.

Searcys head of champagne Martin Dibben also developed a mix of five English sparkling wines alongside the cocktails.

These include Chapel Down Rose Reserve 2020, Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2019, Bolney Estate Blanc de Blancs 2021, Silver Reign Rose, Louis Pommery, Hampshire, NV.

Dibben positively reflected on the menu as he said: “It’s the perfect way to add a touch of luxury to your Olympic viewing.”

In light of the Olympics being hosted in Paris, they’ve brought back their St Pancras afternoon tea with a Parisian twist.

The tea includes a variety of choice spanning from coronation chicken sandwiches to croque monsieur’s.

The menu is available at both Battersea Power Station and St Pancras International and they’ve also have a takeaway option.
