London-based musicians are among the names nominated for accolades the 67th GRAMMY Awards ceremony on 3 February in Los Angeles.
This is the first of the Big Three networks’ major music awards and it is presented by The Recording Academy of the United States to recognise the music industry’s outstanding achievements.
The Award ceremony, which originated in 1959, will be hosted for the fifth consecutive year by the comedian, author, and three-time GRAMMY nominee, Trevor Noah.
Below are the London-based celebrities who have successfully gained nominations for the 2025 award ceremony.
Raye (Tooting)
Raye is a singer-songwriter known for her RnB and soul music which has resulted in her being nominated for her first three GRAMMY awards in the categories of Best New Artist, Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical), and Best Songwritwer (Non-Classical).
Since the release of her debut studio album My 21st Century Blues in 2023, she has had four top-ten UK singles.
Her most popular song Escapism grew through social media which made it the first number one single of 2023.
Jacob Collier (Finchley)
Collier is a jazz and alternative/indie singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and educator.
With a talent for harmonisation, he is known for his energetic live performances where he conducts the audience to sing in harmony or play percussion parts.
Collier has been nominated for two GRAMMY awards in the categories of Best Album and Best Global Music Performance, and he is the first British artist to have won a GRAMMY award for each of his first four albums.
In total, Collier has won five GRAMMY awards and been nominated 11 times.
Four Tet (Putney)
Four Tet is a dance and electronic musician who remixes hit songs from the top artists, like Sia and Radiohead.
He has been nominated for the Best Dance/Electronic Album, and Best Dance/Electronic Recording awards, and has had a total of five GRAMMY nominations in the past.
Four Tet was a member of the rock band, Fringe, but now continues as a solo artist with 12 studio albums.
Disclosure (Surrey)
Disclosure are an electronic music duo which formed in 2010 consisting of brothers, Howard and Guy Lawrence.
They have been nominated for the Best Dance/Electronic Recording accolade for their song, She’s Gone, Dance on and they have had nine GRAMMY nominations in the past, but have never won.
Their debut album Settle earned them their first GRAMMY nomination in 2013 for the Best Dance/Electronic Album and in 2014 they performed at a Grammy U SoundChecks session hosted by the Recording Academy Chicago Chapter.
Finn Keane
Keane, formally known as Easyfun, is a songwriter and record producer who specialises in alternative/indie music.
Keane is Charli XCX’s producer and is nominated for the Best Dance Pop Record Award in the 2025 GRAMMY Award ceremony for Charli XCX’s song ‘Von Dutch.’
Although this is his only nomination, Keane has been credited for his work with Charli XCX in her nominations.
He was a producer for PC Music and Keane and the founder, A. G. Cook, were in the music group, Thy Slaughter.
A. G. Cook (New Cross)
Cook is a music producer, formerly of the now-closed UK record label, PC music.
With four GRAMMY nominations in total, he is best known for being Chari XCX’s producer and has been nominated for The Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) award for Charli XCX’s song Von Dutch.
The Rolling Stones (Dartford)
The Rolling Stones are the best-selling music artist of all time with more than 200 million estimated record sales.
Their album Hackney Diamonds has been nominated for the Best Rock Album award, and they have won a total of three GRAMMY awards and have a total of 13 nominations.
They have been active for six decades and were inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame in 1965 as well as winning the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award in 1986.
Daniel Radcliffe (Hammersmith)
Radcliffe is an actor best known for his role in Harry Potter.
He acts alongside Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez in the classic Stephen Sondheim Broadway musical Merrily We Roll Along, which has been nominated for the Best Musical Theatre Album GRAMMY Award.
Radcliffe has been acting in West End and Broadway productions since 2007 and earned a GRAMMY nomination for the broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2011.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Chelsea)
This is a symphony orchestra established by Thomas Beechman in 1946, but since 2021, their music director has been Vasily Pentrenko.
Their album ALKEBULAN II has been nominated for their first GRAMMY award for Best Global Music Album.
Cadogan Hall, a former church which that has been converted into a 900-seat concert hall and rehearsal space, is their permanent home.
Anoushka Shankar
Shankar is an Indian classical musician and sitar player as well as an occasional writer.
Shankar’s album Chapter II: How Dark is it Before Dawn is nominated for the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album award, which adds to her previous 10 GRAMMY nominations.
She has released seven solo albums and is the first musician of an Indian origin to present the GRAMMY awards ceremony.
Emerald Fennell (Hammersmith)
Fennell is an actress, filmmaker and writer who is well known for starring in hit shows like the BBC’s Killing Eve and Netflix’s The Crown.
Her compilation producer role in the movie Saltburn landed her a first GRAMMY nomination, for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Saltburn is a comedy thriller about a troubled student staying at his classmate’s estate, but horrible events engulf his classmate’s family.
Atticus and Leopold Ross (Ladbroke Grove)
Atticus Ross is a musician, composer, record producer and audio engineer who has won two GRAMMY Awards before and been nominated for five.
Ross is nominated twice in the same category, Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, for his composer roles in the movie Challengers and the television series Shogun.
Like his brother, Leopold is a musician, record producer, recording engineer, and music programmer who is best known for his collaborations with Atticus.
Working as a composer with his sibling on Shogun has landed him his first GRAMMY nomination.
