Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat and 21 Savage have been announced as this year’s headliners at Wireless Festival in London.
Taking place in Finsbury Park from the 12th-14th July, other stars performing in 2024 include J Hus, Future and Ice Spice.
With some of the biggest names in global rap music, hip-hop fans have expressed extreme excitement over the lineup reveal.
London rapper 21 Savage said: “I’m so happy to be returning home to the UK and headlining Wireless for the very first time.”
21 Savage and J Hus will be co-headlining Saturday night supported by Asake, Gunna and Sexyy Red.
Nicki Minaj, who released her chart-topping record Pink Friday 2 in December, took to X and said: “This will be iconic.”
Fans are already labelling the 12th July “Pink Friday” in honour of Minaj’s Friday night headline.
Paint the Town Red singer Doja Cat will close the festival on Sunday, following performances from Tyla, Rema and Digga D.
Other acts across the weekend include Vanessa Bling, Sean Paul, Fridayy, Teezo Touchdown, Shallipopi and more to be announced.
Approximately 50,000 music fans head to the London festival every year, which started in 2005.
The event’s organisers, Festival Republic, have promised “a mind-blowing weekend full of show-stopping cultural moments.”
Wireless has been held in Finsbury Park since 2014 and is expected to take place there each summer until 2027 following a five-year deal signed with Haringey Council last year.
BBC 1Xtra will be at the event hosting stages and providing coverage of the festival.
1Xtra presenter Nadia Jae said: “It is the biggest celebration of contemporary black music in the UK.”
Single day tickets cost £94.60, with combined weekend tickets costing £258.25 and two-day tickets costing £175.50.
Payment plans are also available for festival-goers to secure their ticket in instalments.
Tickets go on sale on 31st January 2024 and can be accessed here: https://wirelessfestival.co.uk/tickets/.
