At the Eel Pie Club in the Cabbage Patch, Twickenham, the classic blues rock band LSD – aka Les Social Disinfectants – who formed last year during lockdown, took to the stage.
Raring to go again after such a long period out with no gigs, their set featured classic songs from the 1960s and 70s from Cream, Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers Band and the Steve Miller Band.
Home to south west London’s rhythm and blues since the 1960s, the Eel Pie Club provided the first regular audiences for Pink Floyd, The Who, The Rolling Stones and a David Bowie in his teens.
