Faith Evans to headline new Surrey festival next month

Faith Evans and Big Narstie will be taking the stage at a brand-new festival celebrating cultural and musical diversity in Surrey next month.

The Rainforest Festival will take place in Walton-on-Thames on 17 September, with more than 15,000 people expected to attend.

Multiple artists and DJs will also be performing across five stages at Apps Court Farm, covering genres such as R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Jungle, and Afrobeats.

Grammy Award winning Faith Evans, who has a career spanning from the 90s and best known for songs, I’ll Be Missing You, and Love Like This, is headlining alongside Big Narstie, Yung Bleu and Libianca.

Although both Yung Bleu and Libianca are fresh faces in the music industry, they have more than five million and 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify respectively.

Big Narstie, who started his career in 2002 as a grime artist, is now better known for his internet and television personality, with The Big Narstie Show on Channel 4.

There will also be a variety of Afro-Caribbean cultural activities and food, and a commitment to environmental conservation, with water stations throughout the venue, and an anti-littering policy.

The festival’s producers, Pied Piper LTD, have decades of experience working with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, and Future.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “We are thrilled to bring together such incredible talent at The Rainforest Festival.

“Our goal is to create a truly immersive experience that celebrates cultures and showcases the power of music to unite and inspire.

“This festival will be a vibrant melting pot of genres, offering something for every music lover.”

Standard and VIP tickets for The Rainforest Festival can be found on their website, or through Ticketmaster
